I've learned a lot of new things about my topic. I had done a little research before this project and watched the movie. I had a good Idea what had happened but I didn't know why. Now that I have been researching and using Noodle Tools' note cards, and EBSCO's articles, I have learned the reasons why my subject did what he did. I've also learned a lot about his past and the things he's said during his trial, his sentence from his trial was, his inmate number, and cell number.
The more you research a certain topic, the more you are able to understand why they did what they did; even if it isn't the morally right thing that a person should do. My opinion towards my subject or attitude hasn't changed. I find him more interesting now that I know a lot more about him. Humans are strange things and the brain is very powerful. My subject would lure his victims to his apartment, drug them, and strangle them. He even did sexual events with a few. He would also dismember them when he was done and either keep them or dispose of them.
When he kept his victims they were like trophies to him, he hung one guy's bones around his apartment as ornaments. He told a reporter during a n interview that Killing wasn't the whole plan, All he wanted to do was control a person (male) who he was attracted to and control them, that's it. Now, you may be wondering who my subject is, you know it's a He because of the way I have been presenting him.
My subject's name is Jeffrey Dahmer, otherwise known as the Milwaukee Cannibal. From that I know you have a pretty good idea of who he was and what he did. His killings were gruesome so I won't mention full details. Mostly all his victims were black, and i think that is because he was attracted to them and also he was the only white male in his apartment building.

The most important piece of information from my research would have to be what Jeffrey Dahmer said in an interview. He said it wasn't about killing people, it was about be able to control a person he was attracted to and be able to do what he wanted with them. It made him feel like they were a part of him. The reason that is so important is because you know what his motive was, yes it was wrong, but it wasn't like other serial killers. Most have had a traumatic family issues, or been abused by someone, or for some, they want to be a totally different person. For example, Buffalo Bill from The Silence of The Lambs, he wanted to a woman, so he would find girls of the right size, and use their skin to make a suit for his to wear. Another important thing about Jeffrey Dahmer is that he was willing, open, and specific about his killings. He came right out and didn't lie, most killers are pathological liars. Officials could have learned a lot from him more from him because of this. There are a lot of interesting things about Dahmer and I could go on and on. One final thing I'll share is that while he was in prison he became a Christian, and was baptized on May 10, 1994. He had become a totally different man, like there were two different Jeffrey Dahmers.
